# Object Details

When right click on an object, users can click on the "Details" button and go to the object detail page. It provides users with a comprehensive view of the object they're storing in the platform. Here, users can access key information about the object, including its name, creation time, object size, and S3 URL.

One of the most important features of the Object Details page is the live map, which shows how the object is being stored on different nodes across the globe. This provides users with a visual representation of the location of their data and gives them greater control and transparency over where their data is being stored.

With OORT Storage, you can be sure that your data is stored securely and accessible from anywhere in the world, and the Object Details page gives you the tools you need to manage your data effectively.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.oortech.com/oort/oort-storage/manage-storage/work-with-objects/object-details.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
